The primary aim of the Council is to support the engineering exporters to increase their exports and comply with the government's export strategy for the Engineering sector in Egypt to meet the target that has been set by the government . 
In order to meet this target during this challenging times we are facing because of the global financial crisis, the Council has worked hard and managed to get the approval of the government to increase the value of its export rebates scheme and include a large percentage of the engineering products. The rebates have been increased by 50% and were set at 15% for 7 months, to be reduced to 10% and declining by 1% per annum over the following 3 years.
Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that the much awaited Export Support program has finally been officially approved. The program will run as follows:
