Chairman Message
The primary aim of the Council is to support the engineering exporters to increase their exports and comply with the government's export strategy for the Engineering sector in Egypt to meet the target that has been set by the government .The Council has worked hard and managed to get the approval of the government to revise its export rebates scheme and include a large percentage of the engineering products. The rebates were set at 10% for 3 years, declining by 1% per annum over the following 3 years starting July2008.
